Nestlé Health Science to acquire the Mevalia® and ComidaMed® brands
Vitaflo (International) Limited, part of Nestlé Health Science, and Dr. Schär AG have entered into an agreement whereby Vitaflo will acquire the Dr. Schär products for Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) as well as the manufacturing facility in Rosbach, Germany. The acquired brands, Mevalia® and ComidaMed®, are used for the dietary management of IEM and cow’s milk protein allergy and will complement Vitaflo’s existing IEM product portfolio and geographic footprint, offering more choice and variety to meet different customer needs.

The transaction is expected to close 1st July 2021. Financial details are not being disclosed.
